Hi, I'm Gregor. In my spare time I build free software for the smart home and for family history research – all open source on GitHub.

What I work on

• Simple NAS – turns Home Assistant into a NAS: shares, USB drives, users and backups from a web interface, without SSH or YAML.
• Lebensbühne (“stage of life”) – a module for webtrees that shows the family tree as a walkable 3D time tunnel, with faces, life stories, historical maps, historical events and music.
• More Home Assistant add-ons – among them Fotoarchiv (photo archive), ClamAV, CrowdSec dashboard, Cloudflare routes, FRITZ!Box network, hardware monitor, chat server, Guacamole and PictureView.

Why I ask for support

These projects take many hours of work: new features, bug fixes, answering questions and keeping up with new versions of Home Assistant and webtrees. Your donation lets me spend more time on them – even a small recurring amount helps.
