MXKS is an independent DJ focusing their attention on providing fun beats and foxy times via the Fediverse, Owncast, and other free and open social technologies. Without a company like Amazon (who operates Twitch) serving as the middleman, dictating who you do and do not see, and forcing creators into an endless cycle of hustling for subscriptions, we're all free to share and form communities around art and music that matters to us. The downside, of course, is shouldering the costs of distribution personally. Running your own Owncast streaming service costs money, as does buying high-quality music.
