Loïc Dachary has been involved with the Free Software Movement since 1987, when he started distributing GNU tapes to the general public in France. In 2018 he founded the Enough Community to develop a Free Software collaborative platform to help journalists and Human Rights defenders with technological solutions to protect their work and their sources. Dachary volunteers for April, a grassroots organization promoting Free Software.
