Solarus

Solarus is a lightweight, free and open-source 2D game engine. The project has been in work since 2006, and is a labour of love by dedicated fans of the classic 16-bit era Action-RPGs like The Legend of Zelda or Secret of Mana.

• Engine written in C++, and executing games made in Lua.
• Multiplatform: Windows, MacOS, Linux, BSD, OpenSuse, Android, Nintendo Switch...
• Completely free and open-source, under GPL v3 License, and Creative Commons for resources.
• Features a multiplatform GUI game editor and a multiplatform game launcher.
• Built-in toolbox to build Action-RPGs.

Solarus Labs
